Arthur D. Little continues growth with three new Partner promotions

José González, Ryo Hanamura and Arnaud Jouron elected as Partners by the company Partnership Committee

Arthur D. Little (ADL), today announced three new Partners across its global business, all internal promotions, following an assessment by the company Partnership Committee. The promotions reflect the firm’s growth in key areas including Financial Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences, and Operations Management.

After joining ADL in 2018 as a Principal in the Madrid office, José González has been promoted to Partner in ADL’s Financial Services Practice in Spain. During his short tenure with ADL, José has leveraged his distinctive knowledge of the insurance business to develop significant intellectual capital contributions. He has been instrumental in starting ADL Spain’s Financial Services Practice and, together with his team, has introduced a new and promising business model to the market, which addresses the convergence potential between players of the telecoms and insurance industries. Through this new model he has secured key accounts and generated a high level of interest both locally and abroad, securing an impressive pipeline for ADL’s operations in Spain. Previously José was Head of Strategy and Governance at Zurich Santander, and he holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Valladolid University, and an MBA from IESE in Spain.

Ryo Hanamura has been promoted to Partner in ADL’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice in Japan, having joined the firm in 2011. As a high performing Principal, Ryo demonstrated excellent case delivery performance, key account management skills as well as new client acquisition capacity. This naturally translated into exceptional sales performance, establishing clear evidence of his dedication and contribution to the firm. Over the last few years, Ryo has been serving Pharma and MedTech clients as well as providing significant contributions to other industries such as Chemicals, Private Equity, and the Public Sector. He has also been leveraging his strong R&D related competencies by successfully serving and acquiring important FMCG accounts. In addition to his accomplishments in business development, Ryo is a consistent contributor to Asset Building and People Development in the Tokyo office. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree of Engineering, both from the University of Tokyo.

Having rejoined ADL’s Paris office as an Associate Director in late 2019, Arnaud Jouron has been promoted to Partner in the Operations Management Practice. Since rejoining ADL, Arnaud has been highly active in business development using his extensive network of high-level client relationships both in France and internationally. He has quickly and impressively built a promising portfolio of opportunities with several targets in the steel, aluminum, automotive and process industries, and private equity sectors. Arnaud’s career includes over twelve years of managing consulting experience, primarily with McKinsey, followed by twelve years in executive positions in the steel and aluminum industry. He was successfully appointed as CFO of Stainless (now Aperam), CFO of Long Carbon, and CEO of the Tubulars Product Division. He also worked with Constellium as President of the Packaging and Automotive Rolled Products unit. Arnaud holds a Civil Engineering degree from Ecole Polytechnique in Paris and a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence.

Ignacio García Alves, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Arthur D. Little, comments: “I would like to congratulate José, Ryo and Arnaud on their promotions to Partner. In a difficult climate, each of them has demonstrated passion, commitment, and dedication to the firm, providing our clients with innovative and helpful solutions, underpinned by their thorough knowledge and expertise. They are an asset to the team. On behalf of the firm, I wish them every success as they embark on their new roles as Partner.”
